      How to set-up the NR series recorders to be able to use the Speco Blue phone application to adjust the sub-stream resolution

      Setting up App Live Self-adaption in NVR and the Speco Blue applications

      Step 1:

      • To access the NR recorder, log in using the local IP address, such as (example, 192.168.1.254)

      Step 2:

      • Click on the "Settings" option.

      Step 3:   

      • Click on "System"

       

      Step 4:

      • Click on (1) 'General Settings' then at the bottom of the screen, enable (2) 'App Live Self-Adaption'.

      Step 5:

      • Launch the Speco Blue application on the iPhone/Android device being used.

      Step 6:

      • Navigate to the (1) menu and select (2) 'Local.' 

      Step 7:

      • Toggle 'Resolution Adaptive' to the ON position.

      At this point the feature is turned on so when the video picture is not smooth, it will automatically switch to a low resolution preview.
