Troubleshooting 2-way Talk on the O2DB1 Doorbell Camera

This is a guide to troubleshooting issues with getting the 2-way talk feature to work on the O2DB1 Doorbell Camera.


  • Common Issue #1: "They can hear me at the camera, but I cannot hear them"

    • By default this camera, like all IP cameras, has it's microphone turned off
    • Enable the Camera's Microphone
      • Log into the camera via the web browser
      • Go to Config > Image > Video/Audio > Audio > Enable

  • Common Issue #2: "I've enabled the microphone, but I still cannot hear them"

    • Please ensure you are using the correct microphone button on the Speco Blue App
    • If you have the camera added via the P2P code in the server list, use this button:



    • If you are using the camera as a camera channel on your recorder, use this button:
