How to fix a Speco Blue VMS Management server port conflict On Pc

This guide goes over the steps required to fix Speco Blue VMS Server port conflicts

Step 1:

  • Click on the Windows Search Bar: Locate the search bar on the bottom taskbar (usually next to the Start menu).

    • Enter "ServertrayUI" into the search field.

Step 2:

  • View Results: If the application is installed on your system, it should appear in the search results. Click on it to open.

  • Alternative Method: If "ServertrayUI" doesn’t appear, try searching for "ServerTray" or simply "Tray," as sometimes the naming can vary slightly.

Step 3:

  • Open ServerTrayUI:
    • Launch the ServerTrayUI and check the configuration settings for the Management Server to identify which port is being used (commonly 8080, 8443, etc.). In this case its 6003/7001.
      • If the program doesn't automatically open from the search menu, in the bottom left corner of the task bar, select the Hidden Icons arrow and click on the ServerTrayUI icon.
    • Stop the Management Server from running by selecting Stop next to the appropriate server. This will ensure that any changes you make to the configuration settings take effect without interference.
      • Once the Server Status reports 'Stopped' click on Configure.
