Welcome to SecureGuard Cloud!
This handbook will help you as you first sign into the platform. There are several Set Up Wizards that can be found on the top right-hand corner of the SecureGuard Cloud website under the graduation cap logo.
Getting Started
- Signing In

- Moving forward – all new users added for access into SecureGuard Cloud will receive a similar welcome email that requests they create their password
- Adding Sites
- You have the ability to organize your customer list (end users) into Accounts and Sub Levels. Under the Sub Levels, you can add multiple recorders
- Example 1
- I am monitoring three Pizza Parlor locations, Account would be Pizza Parlor and I would add the recorders from each of those sites under Pizza Parlor Account
- Example 2
- I am monitoring a three nursing home facilities that each have two recorders
- Account would be Memory Care
- Sub Level would be South St, Main St and Broad St
- The two recorders for South St would be added under that sub level, etc.

- Roles and Permissions
- Best Practices
- Create standard permission roles for SecureGuard Cloud users (called Users) and for the actual recorder (called Site Permissions)
- Creating these roles allows you to granularly grant/inhibit the actions a user is able to take in the SGC website
- Example 1
- User roles for ABC Alarm: Super Admin, Branch Manager, Support
- User roles for End Users: End User
- Example 2
- Site Permissions for ABC Alarm: Super Admin, Support
- Site Permissions for End User: End User
- Creating Partner Users
- Establish what Accounts this user should be granted access to
- Example: A Branch Manager will only need to access the Accounts that fall within his/her branch territory
- Establish what Role this new user should have
- Example: The Branch Manager role that has already been created
- Use the Clone from Existing User option if there is a new user who will have similar but not the same roles
- Establish what Accounts this user should be granted access to
