How to get an RTSP stream directly from an IP Camera

  1. Log into the IP Cameras web setup by typing the IP address of the camera into your browser.
  2. On the sidebar on the left, Click Image, Then choose Video/Audio. In the center of the page, in the grey section, There will be the 3 streams for the camera. Note: If you are looking for MJPEG, Only Profiles 2 and 3 support the MJPEG codec. Under the pull down for video you have the ability to change to whichever video format you are looking for in each stream.. Once the changes are made, click Apply.
  3. On the sidebar on the left, Click Network then choose Ports/Connections. In the center grey area click on the RTSP tab. Use any of the three URLs, depending on which stream you are looking for.  Enter the appropriate IP address for the camera and port. Default port is 9008. So, it will look something like this.

    rtsp://192.168.56.151:9008/profile2
