Quick Start Guide - Speco Blue Mobile App

This is a step-by-step guide on getting the Speco Blue Mobile App up and running from the initial download.


📲 Downloading the App

  • Open the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.

  • Search for Speco Blue.

  • Tap Download and enter your password if prompted.

  • Once installed:

    • On Apple devices, move the app to your Home Screen from the App Library if needed.

  • When opening the app:

    • Agree to the Terms and Conditions.

    • Complete the tutorial.

    • (Optional) Watch the tutorial video.


➕ Adding a Recorder (Site)

  • Open the Speco Blue App.

  • Tap the Recorder icon (two recorders) in the top-right corner.



  • In the Server List, tap the Circle with Three Dots icon.

  • Select Scan Code to scan the recorder’s QR code.



  • Alternatively, tap the Photo icon to upload a QR code from your phone.

  • The app will autofill the Serial Number.

  • Enter:

    • A Name for the recorder

    • Username and Password

  • Tap Save to add it to your Server List.

  • Tap the Play icon to view live feeds.


🖥️ Live View Options

  • Tap the Layout tab at the bottom of the screen.

  • Choose between single-channel and 16-channel views.




🎥 Playback & Exporting Video

  • Tap Playback in the app.

  • Select: Channels, Date, Time



  • To export a video:

    • Tap the Scissors icon

    • Choose the desired time period

    • The clip will be added to the Download List


  • Access downloads via:

    • Hamburger MenuFiles

    • From there, you can email or text the video.

 


🔍 Searching by Analytics

  • Tap the Exclamation Mark (!) icon

  • Select Search by Event

  • Choose one or more of the following:

    • Face

    • Human Body

    • Vehicle

  • Tap Search to load matching AI events.


📤 Sharing Recorder Info

  • Tap the Recorder icon again.

    • In the Server List, tap the recorder’s QR Code.

  • Tap the Share icon in the upper-right corner.

  • Select the contact to share with.
