How to Factory Default a Speco Player Series Recorder

This guide will help you reset a Speco NS, NSP, NSL, NSF, NU, VT, VX, HS, HT, HU, RS, DS, VS, ZS recorders.


  • After logging in, right click on the live view page and click Setup



  • Click on the Config tab on the bottom of the left side menu bar
    • Then click the Select option next to Load Factory Default



  • Click Yes and the system will reboot to default factory settings


Note: A factory default will reset the entire recorder unit to its default factory settings. Any previous setting changes will be lost. The unit's recorded data will remain untouched.
