A quick guide to loading Microsoft Edge to emulate Microsoft Internet Explorer to utilize websites that require Internet Explorer
Reloading Internet Explorer Mode on Edge
- Find Microsoft Edge and open the web browser.
- Click on the “settings and more” in the menu and choose settings.
- After the settings tab loads you will see the following. Click on the “default browser”.
- Upon loading, Choose “Allow” from the pull down and choose restart.
- Go to the site you need to load in “IE Mode”, go to the settings menu ( ) and “Reload in Internet Explorer Mode”
- The site will be reloaded in IE mode. It will show an Internet Explorer icon in the upper left-hand corner.
