How to Setup a SIP Account for Speco IP Speakers
This is a step-by-step guide on creating a SIP account for your Speco IP Speakers, so real time voice messaging can be broadcast remotely.
- Download Linphone
Please Note: Linphone is a third-party service. Speco Technologies is not responsible for providing support or troubleshooting assistance related to the use of Linphone.
- Download the Speco Audio Manager
- After Linphone is downloaded, create an account with Linphone
- Then create a SIP account in Linphone
- Example Account:

*Drew127 represents the account, and after the @ symbol represents the server that it is going through. In this case it’s a computer.

- To showcase a call, another account must be created. In this case this is the other account that we will be using: zshin@linphone.org.
- This account will also be created as another SIP account.
- To use this account, we need to attach this account to an IP speaker.
- Through Speco Audio Manager, scan for the IP speaker
- Click on the blank box for this IP speaker:
- Fill out the second SIP account that and put that information from the SIP account here. Save the information by clicking on set.
- Log into the IP speaker, and under status you will see SIP account 1.
- It should say “Reg Success” (registered successfully).
- It should say “Reg Success” (registered successfully).
- The system is ready to call the IP speaker using your first SIP account.
- You have successfully called the IP speaker using SIP.
