Aiphone RTSP Feed in Speco Recorder

Step 1: Access Camera Settings on Speco NVR

1. Log in to your Speco NVR.
2. Navigate to Settings.
3. Select Add Camera.
4. Choose Add Manually.

Step 2: Set Protocol to Custom

1. Under the Protocol drop-down menu, select Custom.

Step 3: Configure Custom Protocol

1. In the Custom Protocol window:
   • Enable the protocol by switching the status to ‘Enable’.
   • Set the Show Name to ‘Aiphone’.
   • For Main Stream Port and Sub Stream Port, use 554.
   • For the Main Stream Resource Path, enter: udp/unicast/aiphone_H264.
   • For the Sub Stream Resource Path, enter n/a, since Aiphone does not provide a sub-stream.
2. Click OK to save the settings.

Step 4: Add the Aiphone Camera

1. Return to the Add Manually screen.
2. From the Protocol drop-down, select the ‘Aiphone’ protocol you just created.
3. Enter the IP Address of the Aiphone intercom in the Address field.
4. Input the Username and Password for the Aiphone system.
5. Click Add at the bottom of the screen to finalize.

Step 5: Verify the Stream

1. After adding the Aiphone, the system will take you back to the Add Cameras tab.
2. The Main Stream should now be active. Since Aiphone does not support a sub-stream, you will not see an image in the multi-screen live view or preview mode.
3. However, the Full Screen Live View (which uses the main stream) will work correctly, and the main stream will be recorded.

Troubleshooting

• If the full-screen live view does not display immediately, power cycle the Aiphone by turning it off and back on. This should resolve the issue.

This setup allows you to add the Aiphone’s RTSP feed for recording and viewing through the Speco recorder, though it only supports a single main stream.
