How to set up Password Reset via E-mail on Speco Blue recorders
With firmware 1.4.12 and newer, the option for an email password reset was added for convenient access of this feature.
- At the top right, click Start > Settings

- Select Account and Authority

- On an NRX recorder, select Password Recovery Settings

- On other Blue Series recorders, select Edit Security Question

- On other Blue Series recorders, select Edit Security Question
- Check Enable and enter the email address you will use to receive the verification code.
- Click Apply when finished.

- You now have the ability to reset your password if you get locked out of your recorder
- When logged out and prompted to enter your username and password, select Retrieve Password

- Enter the email address you set up under Password Recovery Settings, Click Obtain

- An email will be sent containing the verification code.
- Enter it at the recorder and click OK
- Enter it at the recorder and click OK
- An email will be sent containing the verification code.
- Set your new password and confirm it, then hit OK
