How to disable Adaptive Resolution for a Speco Blue Recorder
This is a step-by-step guide showing how to turn off Adaptive Resolution on a Speco Blue Recorder.
- By default, when using a remote connection your Speco Blue Recorder will be set to Adaptive Resolution.
- This means that based on the bandwidth available, it will automatically change the resolution to ensure smooth playback
- Follow the steps below if high quality viewing is required at all times
- From the Speco Blue App
- Tap the Hamburger Icon in the top left corner
- Tap Local
- Tap Resolution Adaption to turn it off
- Tap the Hamburger Icon in the top left corner
- From the Speco Blue Recorder
- Go to Start > Settings > System
- Uncheck App Live Self-adaptation
Notes:
Once this change is made on one side, it does not need to be
changed on the other side. This is the same setting.
Also while a clearer picture will be produced, if there is not sufficient bandwidth to support the resolution, then the image may appear choppy and laggy.
