- First, navigate to Settings > Camera Settings.

- To set a preset go to the PTZ section and then Preset.
-
- Click on the Add button and set a preset number and name.
- Note: Presets 70-89 can only be used for Home Position.

- Move the camera to the desired position and select your named preset and hit Save Position

-
Next, navigate to the PTZ section and then to the home position setting

-
Select the desired preset under the name column,
-
Configure wait time and hit Apply at the bottom right.
-
Keep in mind only one home position that can be set per camera channel
-
Common terms:
Location: Location can be set for the camera to return to an action such as cruise, trace, random scanning or boundary scanning as its home position. For example: setting the location to cruise will always default back to the cruise selected.
