The O5E1 encoder is capable of both receiving and sending out 12VDC power. The correct power terminal to power a camera will be on the coax side of the encoder.
Inserting both positive and ground into their respective terminals will initiate the orange latch that will hold the wire in place. A proper inserted wire will look like this.
Once the encoder is powered through either PoE or DC, the camera connected should power up.
