How to have Events trigger an audio alarm on Speco Blue VMS

This will alert users of Speco Blue VMS when an analytic has been picked up with an audio alarm.


  •  Click Local Configuration on the Configuration tab.

  • Select Alarm Sound. You can use the default audio, upload your own audio and test the alarm here.
    • Click Apply once you are finished.

  •  Click Alarm Setting under the Alarm Center Tab.

  • Under Alarm Type, click Monitoring Point. Select the analytic you'd like to have trigger the alarm.

    • The analytic you select must also be configured in the recorder for the alarm to trigger.

  • Select Audio ON for any cameras you would like to have trigger an audible alarm when the recorder picks up that analytic.  

  • Select Schedule Settings

 

  • Configure the schedule the alarm will run.
    • 7*24 and 5*24 are available by default, but custom schedules can be added.
    • If creating a custom schedule, click Add and hit Save when finished.

  • Apply the schedule to whichever cameras you want to have trigger the audio alarm.
    • Click Apply on the bottom when finished.
