How to Export footage remotely to a local USB device through a web browser

This article is a step-by-step on exporting footage to a USB device direct to a USB storage plugged into the recorder.


  • Log into the recorder via to Local IP address or connect.specotech.cloud
  • Verify the USB drive is formatted as FAT32 for the recorder to recognize it
    • CLICK HERE for a guide on how to format your USB to FAT32
  • Select Playback on the top left

 

  • Select the cameras you would like to export a clip from 

 

    • Select on the timeline where'd you like to start your clip. Use the left scissor to set the backup start time. 
    • Select on the timeline where'd you like to end your clip. Use the right scissor to set the backup end time. 
    • Click the Export button when finished 

 

  • Change the destination from Local to Remote Device and select your video format
    • Select No Encryption, or select Encryption and set the password
    • Then click Ok 




 

  • The clip will now be saved onto the local USB
