How to ensure SecureGuard settings are saved on Windows 8 PCs

When running SecureGuard on a Windows 8 PC, some users have noted that when they change the grid positions of the cameras, or the screen mode (2x2, 3x3, etc) and then exit the application, these changes are not saved when the user returns to running SecureGuard.

A workaround is available.

  • Every time a user makes such a change, the user needs to either Disconnect the DVR site from the group window:

DisconnectSite

  • Disconnect All Sites to save any changes:

DisconnectSites
