How to enable Digital Deterrent features from NR series recorder

Digital deterrent features can be configured from either the camera or the recorder.

Step 1:

  • ➊ Click on the  hamburger icon,
  • ➋ Click on settings (gear icon)

Step 2:

  • Choose the AI/Event Tab as shown below. 

Step 3:

  • Under Event Notification tab click on Digital Deterrent tab. 

Step 4:

  • ➊ Click enable for Digital Deterrent
  • ➋ Select the voice option to play when an event is triggered 

Step 5:

  • ➊  Click on the Audio Device tab
  • ➋ Ensure the microphone is enabled. This is where the schedule is set for audible alarm. <--- Please clarify!!! 

Step 6

  • Under AI Event click on Perimeter Detection

Step 7:

  • Select AI event and click Perimeter Detection.
  • Setup your analytic  (Line Crossing, intrusion).
  • Click trigger mode and select  IPC_Digital Deterrent, and IPC_Light. 

Step 8:

  • Click Apply
