How to Do EZ-Search via Web Browser on Blue Series Recorder

This is a step-by-step guide on accessing and using the EZ-Search playback feature on a Speco Blue Recorder via the Web browser client.


  • Log in to the recorder using the Local IP Address or Public IP Address
    • Note: EZ-Search is not available via QR code connection on connect.specotech.cloud


  •  Click on the Search and Export tab



  •  Select the date and camera
    • Once selected, the timeline will display 23 thumbnails representing each hour of the day. 



  •  Click on the desired hour
    • The system will then display thumbnails broken down by the minute



  • Select the specific minute to begin playback.
    • The footage will start in the upper-left-hand corner of the screen. 
    • You can now enter a start time and end time to create a backup/export clip of the footage.
