How to Disable Push Notifications on the Speco Blue IOS App

This Article will show how to configure the different options for notification settings the Speco Blue iOS mobile app.

 

  • Option #1: At the NVR:
    • Go to Settings > AI/Event > Event Notification > Push
      • Uncheck the checkbox to disable ALL push notifications from this recorder.
      • Alternatively, The schedule can be configured here as well. 


  • Option #2: At the Speco Blue App (Globally):
    • Press the Menu Button in the top left (3 horizontal lines)
    • Select Push Setting > Device > Uncheck Enable Push Message
    • This will disable ALL push notifications from this recorder.

Note: If the push option is already disabled in the recorder's settings, the option will not be available on the app.


  • Option #3: Speco Blue App (Individual Devices Only):
    • Select Push Setting > Device > Uncheck Message Subscription
      • This mobile app will no longer receive notifications from this device specifically. Other devices on the app are not affected by this change.


Option #4: Disable IOS Notifications (Individual Device):

  • Navigate to the Settings App > Notifications > Speco Blue > Allow Notifications
    • This will disable all notifications coming from the Speco Blue App.






Option #5: Disable Pop-Up Notifications (Individual Device):

  • Disable pop up notifications on the app but keep recording them. 
  • Click the "!" icon > Uncheck the Notification option
    • Notifications will no longer pop up while using the app, however they will still be tracked and able to be viewed.
