How to Connect O2DB1 Camera to Wi-Fi
This is a brief article on how the O2DB1 camera can get connected wirelessly to a Wi-Fi signal.
- Power camera via POE and log into the camera interface
- If connecting to DHCP source like a router or managed switch, run our IP Scanner to find it on the network
- If connecting to non-DHCP source like an unmanaged switch, it will default to IP address 192.168.226.201
- Log into the camera interface
- Username: admin
- Password: 1234
- Go to Config > Network > Ports and Connections > Wi-Fi
- Click Enable
- Click on the desired Wi-Fi source under Wi-Fi Networks
- Enter the password in the section labeled Key 1
- Choose either DHCP or Static for the IP address
- Click Save
- NOTE - The doorbell will only see 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi sources, not 5 GHz
- NOTE - The doorbell will only see 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi sources, not 5 GHz
- Although the configuration is done, while connected to the POE, it will always say "Disconnected" in the connection column. This is normal.
- At this point, remove the POE and add either a 12V power supply or the included CCTV power converter
- Once the camera powers back up, it will then connect to Wi-Fi and be findable on the wireless network
