- Go to Settings > Record
- Then click on Encode Parameters on the left side:
- Here is where many parameters can be edited such as:
- Encoding Type: H.265 is most efficient
- Resolution: by default will be the max. available of the camera, dial back as needed
- FPS: starts at 30, recommended is 15
- Bitrate Type: VBR is best for bandwidth concerns
- Max Bitrate: keep it in the range of the recommended column, lower if needed to save on bandwidth and recording time
