How to Add a Speco Recorder to the SecureGuard Client App on an Amazon FireStick
This is a brief article on how to add a Speco Recorder to an Amazon FireStick with the recorders Local IP, External IP or DDNS.
- Open the SecureGuard Client App

- Click the Center button on the Amazon Remote to reveal the menu bar
- On the left side of the bar, click on Menu

- On the left side of the bar, click on Menu
- Click on Add Server/Site

- Select the DDNS option if that is how you are connecting
- NOTE: This method requires port forwarding on the ports specified in your recorders settings.
- If not using DDNS, select NO.

- If connecting a recorder, select DVR/NVR

- Select your recorder model

- Click Next

- Add your recorder details
- Click Save

- Click Save
- If correctly added, cameras will begin to populate from the desired recorder

Note 1: You can only connect to the Apple TV with the recorders Local IP or External IP/DDNS with Port Forwarding setup.
Note 2: Although it is listed in the settings, the app does not have support for JLA/JWA or JWN/JLN recorders.
