How to Enable Audio from a Speco Blue Camera

This guide will go over the steps required to activate a camera's audio feature from the camera's settings.


Disclaimer - For legal purposes, audio is disabled by default. Please review local and state laws before enabling the camera's audio.


In order to enable audio directly from the camera's settings, a computer would need to be able to connect directly to the IP camera. For a Guide on how to do that, CLICK HERE.


 

  • Connect to the IP camera from a computer and login with the username and password.

  •  In the top-left corner, select the Config option.
    • This will open the configuration page of the camera where all other settings are available.

  • On the menu that appears on the left side, select Image, and then select Video/Audio.
    • The top of the Video/Audio page will have two options. Select Audio.
      • Put a checkmark in the checkbox next to Enable.
        • Adjust the volume as needed and select Save.

The camera's audio is now active.

** If the camera is already connected to a Speco Blue Recorder, changing settings in the camera will automatically change them in the recorder. The linked guide will not need to be followed if this current guide has already been followed. **
